Justice for the Greenes
On February 2, 2026, at approximately 12:44 a.m., Nicholas R. Smith, was operating a 2019 Volkswagen sedan traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 26 near the 216-mile marker when it struck a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe head-on in the number three lane.
The Tahoe was occupied by members of the Greene family. Tiheshaca M. Greene sustained fatal injuries at the scene. Virgil L. Greene, the driver, was transported for treatment of injuries including a broken leg. A juvenile passenger, Arya Greene, was transported for treatment of minor injuries.
